T0327 - Electro Mechanical Installation

Modification Notice Original description: Provision and Installation of Electrical & Mechanical Works at Trinity House sites including Light Vessels Description of the modifications A 12 month extension has been granted to the contractor for Lot 1 and Lot 2.

The provision of the contract will remain the same as per the previous contracted 2 Lots from the tender exercise.

This 12 month extension will assist Trinity House in ensuring that rescheduled projects and operations can be carried out.

The value published on this notice is estimated up to 50% of the original notice and will not be confirmed until the work packages are confirmed following this period of interruption.

Description of the circumstances which rendered the modification necessary and explanation of the unforeseen nature of these circumstances: Due to the period of uncertainty caused by COVID-19, Trinity House have to re-organise their planned projects and work packages for the next two years.

Critical requirements take precedent during this period to ensure continuation of statutory duties.

Due to the current circumstances, Trinity House do not feel that it would be appropriate and fair to potential organisations to tender during this period that is subject to the impact of COVID-19, as the market is unsettled.
