Provision of Cleaning Services - St Peter's Academy

St Peter's is a mixed all through Catholic School in Bournemouth, split between the Secondary site at Southbourne (BH6 4AH) and a Primary site at Iford (BH7 6RG), 2.6miles apart.

We require an external cleaning company that will provide efficient, timely, reliable and cost-effective services to the school, commencing in September 2018.

The Primary School will by September 2018 be used by 300 students from Year R to Year 4, increasing 60 per year over the following two years.

By September 2020 the whole school premises will be in use by 420 students.

The Primary School has been refurbished with new classrooms and office areas, completed in 2018 to a high standard.

The Secondary School currently has 1740 students on role from Year 7 to Year 13 Sixth form.

Buildings vary in age and facilities and includes a 400 seat theatre.

Evening and weekend events are held by the school, together with use of the facilities by outside groups.

The current cleaning arrangement is with a local external contractor some staff would be entitled to arrangements under TUPE.
