Royal Berkshire Fire Authority has identified a requirement for the Inspection, Testing of all of its Fixed Wire Installations within the RBFRS premises.
The Authority has eighteen active fire stations, a main head quarters plus range of other small buildings including a Fire House and three domestic properties.
This contract is being put in place to appoint a single contractor to manage this requirement and undertake the required testing to ensure that the Authority satisfactorily discharges responsibility under this Act.
The Authority is seeking to enter into an agreement with a single Contractor that can commit to offering comprehensive reliable, robust and detailed Inspection/Test that is up to date and in accordance with latest legislation and professional guidance.
The new contract will be from 1st January 2018 to 31st December 2021, with the option to extend for up to two further years
