This is a large award for Business Services — above three-quarters of comparable contracts. Based on 57,319 valued Business Services tenders in our corpus.
Nottingham Trent University wishes to establish a multi-provider agreement for the provision of Legal Services.
The University will work closely with the chosen Suppliers throughout the term of the Framework Agreement to achieve greater value for money for the University.
It is estimated that NTU spends over the framework lifespan of £3,800,000 on Legal Services and is inviting Suppliers to Tender for the provision of these services under an Agreement that will run initially for two years, up to a maximum period of four years, subject to satisfactory performance.
There is no guarantee of volume or usage levels under the Agreement.
The Framework Agreement will allow qualifying firms to supply the services identified in the technical specification, on the agreed terms and for the duration of the Framework Agreement period.
NTU will engage Providers by placing individual assignments/instructions under the terms of the Agreement.
The Tenderer shall be required to deliver a cost effective service that maximises value for money for NTU through the delivery of a timely, effective, up-to-date and quality service.
It is critical that the Tenderer develops an understanding of the organisational aims, tasks and risks, the working environment and culture and requirements of NTU.
The services may be ad-hoc, project-related, routine, or related to ongoing activities.
Tenderers may typically be used to complement and/or supplement NTU's own in-house legal team.
Project related work may require the Tenderers' personnel or nominated third party to participate as members of project teams or project boards.
The University's Human Resource department wish to appoint one Supplier (Lot 2b) to act on the basis of an agreed retention service agreement.
In exchange of the monthly retainer fee, the University expects the appointed Supplier to demonstrate their added value propositions including Service Level turnarounds, staff development and access to suitable qualified lawyers in a range of disciplines.
