Releasing Capacity in General Practice Audit Too
NHS England has previously commissioned a study into workload pressures and the report from the study, ‘Making Time in General Practice’ was published in September 2015.
The study identified sources of bureaucracy and potentially avoidable GP workload which can be actioned at a national level as well as through service redesign by practices themselves.
NHS England is looking to establish an ongoing programme to measure the impact of the programme of actions using the same methodology as in the original ‘Making Time in General Practice’ report.
