Oxford House Refurbishment (part of RetroFIT for the FUTURE)

Modification Notice Original description: Oxford House is a residential tower block consisting of 90 flats over floors 1-15 with communal space on the ground floor.

Part of the refurbishment works are funded through the RetroFIT for the FUTURE project from the England European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

Details of the ERDF funded elements are listed below.

All elements of this project from procurement through to the completion of works on site will comply with ERDF regulations.

The works are to include the following; •External Wall Insulation (ERDF works) •Replacement windows •New insulated roof (ERDF works) •Two no. replacement lifts currently hit and miss and being adapted to land on each floor •Replacement electrical heating system •New ventilation system per dwelling •Replacement flat entrance doors •Communal refurbishment throughout Description of the modifications Extension of time agreed with ERDF Funding due to covid-19 Description of the circumstances which rendered the modification necessary and explanation of the unforeseen nature of these circumstances: Due to Covid-19 this has presented delays within time.

Extension of time for the contractor has been granted for completion on 12th August 2021.

No costs modifications have been approved for this contract modification.
