Pre-market Engagement Event Friday 4 November 2016 at 1.00pm to 4.00pm Medical Services for the frail and elderly in St Helens Borough Venue: St Helens CCG, St Helens Chamber, Salisbury Street, Off Chalon Way, St Helens, Merseyside, Post code WA10 1FY St Helens CCG invites interested parties to review, discuss and comment on potential changes to the current model of delivering medical services for the Elderly population of St Helens Borough i.e. those patients registered with St Helens CCG family doctors.
A presentation of the current model and a presentation of the potential new models will take place followed by an opportunity for attendees to comment on the CCG’s potential changes to the care of the frail elderly population of the borough.
The event will help the CCG to understand the market and supplier offerings prior to deciding to going to market or not.
The discussion will address the potential timeline for any change.
The CCG will ensure that competition is not distorted by the participation of any supplier who contributes to this pre-market engagement event.
The slides presented by the CCG and any Information received on the day will be recorded and shared with other interested parties via “the Chest”: https://www.the-chest.org.uk Should the CCG decide to test the market appetite for the supply of medical services for the frail and elderly in St Helens Borough then a Bidder Event will be held following this Pre-market Engagement Event.
The recorded feedback from 4 November 2016 will be shared and its use in informing or shaping a new model will be explained to all potential bidders at the Bidder Event and feedback from the Bidder Event will be available on the CHEST should the CCG tender for these services.
Potential suppliers may decide to create a ‘Chinese wall’ between those involved in the pre-market engagement and those involved in any subsequent tender process should they deem this necessary.
