Science & Technology Venture Capital Fellowship
At the Autumn Statement, the Chancellor announced the creation of a Science & Technology Venture Capital Fellowship - 'the Fellowship' to help produce the next generation of world-leading investors in the UK's renowned venture capital funds to support investment into the UK's most innovative high-growth companies.
The Department for Science Innovation and Technology (DSIT) is now undertaking a market engagement activity to inform the design and delivery this pilot Fellowship.
We will be delivering a presentation of the proposed structure for the Fellowship, seeking feedback on the content and delivery approach.
Respondents are asked to indicate their level of interest in bidding to deliver the Fellowship.
The Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) will be holding a pre-market engagement event on the 15th of January 2024 at 14:00.
In this session we will outline the programme fellowship scheme in more detail, run a quick poll to those in attendance, and host a Q&A session towards the end of the event.
Following this pre-market engagement we will ask interested attendees to provide further information in the form of a Request for Information ("RFI") in order for the Department to shape the programme prior to procurement launch.
The event will be hosted via Microsoft teams and the joining details are below (please copy the entire link into the web browser in the event it is only partially hyperlinked): https://teams.microsoft.com/l/meetup-join/19:meeting_NjliNTc4NzgtN2JlMy00NzU2LTk5MDMtOWY3ZGRhZmVhMzJh@thread.v2/0?context={"Tid":"cbac7005-02c1-43eb-b497-e6492d1b2dd8","Oid":"fe09f2f9-f07c-455d-9223-a1b38a772f22"} If you are not able to attend this event, but would still like to participate in the RFI exercise, please contact matthew.findlow@dsit.gov.uk or jack.millward@dsit.gov.uk for further details.
The Department DSIT will not be accepting any RFI responses beyond the 26th January 2024.
