The brief

The aim of this tender is to establish a framework agreement of one or more suppliers for the supply of Marine Lanterns and will be run by Trinity House.

All lanterns must meet IALA standards, information about which can be found via the following link: R0201 Marine Signal Lights-Colours (E200-1) - IALA AISM (iala-aism.org) Tenderers will be required to provide options from their catalogue, or offerings that meet the specifications which will be included within the tender documents.

This will include unit costs and lead times and technical capability.

Purchases may be made by any of the three General Lighthouse Authorities for England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Ireland.

Tenderers will be asked to provide unit costs including delivery and lead time.

The contract is expected to be awarded for 3 years with an optional 1 x 12 month extension, and is expected to be published within the next few months, compliant with Public Procurement Regulations at the time the tender is published.
