The brief

The Radiology Information System (RIS) is a key clinical component in the delivery of care and diagnostics in DBTH NHS FT.

The medical imaging department's current Radiology Information System (RIS) contract expires in August 2024 with support being offered by the current company altering to critical only from January 2024.

The requirement is for a replacement RIS system which must be deployed and live for use before August 2024, with appropriate data migration having been completed ensuring that patient pathways and historic information continues to be available.

The new RIS system must connect to the Trust's existing PACS solution, which will not be replaced as part of this tender process.

It is key that the current level of functionality is not reduced and any deployment must enhance the way the radiology department functions.
