The brief

Subject to governance, in Autumn 2022 the London Borough of Ealing is planning to procure a quality cost effective provider to deliver the Council's key graffiti and fly post removal commitments.

Ealing wishes to carry out market engagement with providers who are interested in tendering for a contract for the provision of Graffiti and Fly Post Removal Service.

Ealing would like to invite interested providers submit a market engagement questionnaire using the link below.

The deadline for receipt of the questionnaire is 5pm on 7th September 2022 https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=Q4w6AYeCi0yHixMeMM258yr18p-24EtEgTV6UR8rX4lUQURPQ1ZCVEE0REVCNzQyN1VBS045VkI3Ri4u The Graffiti and Fly Post Removal Service is part of the Council's key commitment regarding a greener borough, keeping Ealing clean, achieving net zero carbon, and ensuring our parks, open spaces and nature are protected and enhanced.

Part of keeping Ealing Clean is the removal of graffiti and fly posts under statutory requirements.

The London Borough of Ealing plans to carry out the competitive re-procurement of a three year core and flexi contract for the Graffiti and Flyposting removal service (with two possibilities of annual extension) to coincide with the end of the current contract a the beginning of June 2023.

The contract provides an essential service to borough residents and is part of the service output by which the Council is judged for the Local Performance Indicator, NI195, which measures both graffiti and flyposting levels present in the borough.

The current spend on graffiti and fly post removal is approximately £160,000 per annum.

The total value over a five year period is £800,000.

The service currently undertakes around 4000 completed graffiti and fly post removal jobs on Ealing streets.

This could potentially increase by approximately 22.5% by the end of 2022.

Ealing would like to invite interested providers to submit an expression of interest using the link below.
