The brief

Provision of an Arrest Warrants Service to the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) Child Maintenance Service.

The service is linked to the use of Sanctions Hearings in the Magistrates Court in England and Wales.

Previously the service has been provided as part of a wider civil debt enforcement service.

The current need is for a stand alone service to commence in mid/late 2024.

The DWP wishes to engage with the market on potential new approaches that will support improved performance in the recovery of child maintenance arrears which are owed under Liability Orders whilst supporting sustainable delivery by the market,.

Areas for detailed consultation will include: - 1.

Models for delivery 2.Optimum geographical zoning -to support supplier take up and reduce logistical challenges 3.

Pricing options- including both fixed and incentive based elements linked to successful delivery Expressions of Interest in attending an initial online market engagement event to be held on either: - Tuesday 9th July 2024 AM or PM , and/or - Thursday 11th July 2024 AM or PM should be emailed to cd.debtservices@dwp.gov.uk by close of business on Friday 5th July indicating your availability for one or both dates/times.

Confirmation of events date and times will be provided by Monday 8th July.

Further face to face engagement sessions, including the potential for one to one meetings with suppliers , may be available subject to demand.
