The brief

The Service will specifically deliver healthcare provision in Nottinghamshire Custody Suites.

The Provider must carry out healthcare and forensic examinations on suspects, witnesses, and voluntary attendees, Nottinghamshire Police personnel subject to assaults or complaints, attend scenes of sudden deaths and drink drive hospital procedure as and when necessary.

The Provider must operate an embedded service to Nottinghamshire Police on a 24/7, 365/6 basis primarily at two custody sites - Bridewell, Nottingham and Mansfield Police Station.

A third site at Newark has recently been moth-balled; in the future there may be an occasional need to attend should the site temporarily re-open at times of high demand.

The current contract expires on 31st May 2018 Site visits can be accommodated, details of which will be published on EU Supply Bluelight.

The Services to which this Procurement relates fall within Schedule 3 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (the 'Regulations').

As such, the procurement of the Services is being run as a bespoke, application process akin to the Open Procedure, which will be outlined within the suite of procurement documents. **Procurement Documentation will be made available from Friday 15th December 2017**
