Cleaning Services

This Advertisement has been drafted with the aim of identifying potential contractors that can provide a range of Cleaning Services to the General Pharmaceutical Council.

Following the Expressions of Interest it is our intention to use a Pre Qualification Questionnaire to identify and short list those suppliers who are both capable and willing to help us achieve our business objectives.

The short listed suppliers will then be invited to tender.

Organisation Background: The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) was created by statute in March 2010 as the regulator for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and retail pharmacy premises in Great Britain.

The GPhC has approximately 175 staff, 160 of these staff are office based and the remainder are home based including a number of Inspectors who conduct inspections of pharmacy premises.

Our headquarters are at 129 Lambeth Road, London, SE1.

At this building we occupy 3 floors covering approximately 20,000 square feet.

We also have a satellite office at 3 Albert Embankment London SE1 approximately 3 minutes walking distance from the headquarters.

At this building we occupy 1 floor covering approximately 4,000 square feet.

Cleaning services are to be provided for all office spaces, landings, stairwells, toilets, meeting rooms and kitchenette areas.

Also specialist cleaning for computer equipment, keyboards, monitors, telephones, fax machines, photocopiers etc.
