The brief

The London Borough of Bromley is seeking expressions of interest from providers interested in delivering short breaks, daytime activities, weekend activities, respite services including overnight provision, or similar offerings.

We aim to enhance our current building-based services by incorporating referral points and standalone opportunities accessible via Direct Payments or Personal Health Budgets.

We are currently unable to secure sufficient provision for short breaks and respite within Bromley.

To address this, we aim to build up our local community provision.

Alongside other initiatives, such as the development of the Hubs model, we want to encourage more daytime and weekend opportunities.

To progress this initiative, we are organising a market engagement event on 8th October 2024 at Bromley Civic Centre's Council Chambers starting at 2pm and finishing at 4pm.

This event will be divided into two sections, focusing separately on services for children and adults.

We strongly encourage providers to attend both sessions to gain a comprehensive understanding of the available opportunities.
