The brief

Call off competition using CCS Framework RM6188: Audit & Assurance Services Framework.

The Department of Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) requires a Supplier to undertake the following on an ad hoc basis: • Delivery Partner Reviews (DPR) of those organisations selected by BEIS or Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) to deliver new projects for BEIS International Climate Finance (ICF/ODA) or Defra ICF/ODA. • Due Diligence Assessments (DDA) of those organisations selected by the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) to deliver new projects for FCDO ICF, and broader Overseas Development Assistance (ODA) funded projects. • Review of DDAs carried out by the FCDO of those organisations selected by FCDO to deliver new projects for FCDO ICF or ODA. • Adverse media and reputational risk assessment of those organisations or individuals selected by BEIS/FCDO or Defra to undertake an activity with.

DPRs/DDAs help inform the decision on the suitability of an organisation as a partner to deliver programme or project objectives, and whether BEIS, Defra, and FCDO's accounting officers are sufficiently protected in relation to the use of public funds.

DPRs/DDAs inform the decisions on the appropriateness of the organisation, their expected effectiveness, their capacity and capability, the risk of failure to deliver, and if necessary, mitigating actions that can be taken.
