The brief

OJEU Notice: 2016/S 031-050340 Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking expressions of interest to provide staff and visitor catering and retail services across all its sites.

This project is intended to provide an evidence-based proposal to change the types of food, drink and other forms of retail available to Barts Health personnel and the public and the ways in which this is presented.

A key aspect will be to encourage and enable people to eat and drink more healthily whilst at work or visiting our hospitals with an appropriate range and choice being made available.

Of equal importance is the requirement to provide a fairly priced sustainability-focused non-food offer which meets the aspirations of patients, staff, visitors and relatives.

There will be a Bidders briefing session on Wednesday, 24.2.2016 to set the scene for the project and allow Bidders to better understand the opportunities extending from the project.

Further information on how to RSVP is contained within the Request for Information.
