The Contract Administrator will provide the Contractor with a list of the properties identified in the annual programme.
The properties are likely to be spread throughout the borough of Colchester and the Contractor will need to take this into consideration when pricing these works.
The list may be added to/deducted from as necessary.
The Contractor shall carry out a pre-works survey of all properties in the annual programme.
The purpose of the pre-works survey is twofold.
The Contractor needs to identify any risk or issues peculiar to the property and consider the needs of vulnerable residents when undertaking these works.
The Contractor needs to ensure that the resident is aware and understands the scope of works and agrees any design or layout choices.
The resident should be provided with contact details, emergency contact details, a description of the works to be undertaken and an indication as to the sequencing of these operations.
The Contractor shall provide a dedicated, named Residents' Liaison person, who shall provide information and support to residents during the Works and will communicate the Contractor's operational activities and requirements in order to minimise the disruption to the residents.
The product specification may be subject to change throughout the duration of the Contract if required for budgetary purposes.
