The brief

The service provider shall employ, on this Contract Agreement, employees fully trained and of sufficient breadth of experience to cope with the level of expertise which will be required in the managing of Legionella/water treatment services for the Authority.

The service provider shall only provide directly employed staff to execute the work and shall not sub-contract the works, nor use staff provided by third parties, without the approval of the employer's representative.

The purpose of this contract is to offer consistency, in terms of the provision of Legionella/water treatment.

This contract will support the Authority in meeting their objectives and ensuring that they meet all statutory requirements and standards.

Water systems should be designed, maintained and operated in conditions that prevent or control the growth of legionella.

The service provider should offer guidance to Authority on legislation in this area.

The contract will comprise of Legionella/water treatment services for, but not limited to the following areas: - domestic cold-water services - storage and distribution, - domestic hot water services - generation storage and distribution, - faucets, showers, bib taps, etc., - Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMV)/Thermostatic Mixing Taps (TMT).
