High Level Needs Independent Supported Living Services for Adults Supplier Engagement Event
South Tyneside Council would like to invite you to a Supplier Engagement Event for our High Needs Independent Supported Living Services being held 1:30pm - 3:30pm on Monday 26 February 2024 at One Trinity Green, Havelock Street, South Shields, NE33 5RW.
The outcome of this consultation will inform the forthcoming tender exercise, which is anticipated to commence March 2024, for a contract commencement no later than Monday 1 July 2024.
This event will be focused around sharing our ideas for the future model of service delivery for High Needs Independent Supported Living Services, delivered to people in South Tyneside.
We intend to share our proposed service model and seek ideas on how a framework for specialist care providers can meet the current need within the borough.
We will also take you through the Council's tender requirements and timeline In September 2021, South Tyneside Council launched the five-year Living Better Lives Strategy for Adult Social Care and Commissioning in South Tyneside.
It is based on extensive consultation and co-production with local partners, people working in social care, and people who draw on care and support.
The current proposed model has been primarily informed by the Strategy, and we would very much like your feedback on our proposals to shape this service and the new specification.
We do hope you can join us so please register your interest by contacting Helen Tranter (helen.tranter@southtyneside.gov.uk).
Please contact Helen if you have any questions relating to this event.
