The proposal also includes the demolition of the sheds on the north-west of Phase 1, which are deemed not fit for use, and the development of a new two-storey BREEAM excellent workshed, predominantly targeted at micro and small businesses within the creative industries.
The development also include the construction of cycle storage, carparking, and an industrial-looking steel canopy with communal utility point to serve market vendors.
The scheme is currently with Cornwall Council Planners for determination under application reference PA20/02028, and it is envisaged that planning will be obtained on 14th September 2020, prior to formal appointment.
