The brief

Cambridgeshire County Council currently have 2 frameworks covering Construction Requirements, both of which are mature in terms of being the latest iterations of similar frameworks held by the Authority for several years.

The Design & Build Framework is for larger scale projects, mainly but not exclusively related to Education Buildings, and ends in November 2025.

The Minor Works framework covers smaller requirements up to approx.

£1m in value for Fabric and £500k for Mechanical & Electrical requirements, and ends in April 2026.

The Authority is keen to understand views from the market as to the best vehicle for delivering our anticipated pipeline of work from April 2026, and requests interested parties to access the attached document, complete it and return it to Jon.collyns@cambridgeshire.gov.uk.

NOTE: The document was updated on 18th February, as one of the questions around having the skills and expertise required to deliver school extensions, including considering the extra requirements from BB103, DfE guidance, using project milestones etc incorrectly referred to the wrong Lot.
