VCSE Capacity Building Framework
For the avoidance of doubt this is not a Call for Competition, this is to initiate a soft market testing process.
Staffordshire County Council is committed to working alongside the VCSE sector to support and empower our communities.
The VCSE sector is a critical partner in helping the Council to deliver its priorities for communities, including the ongoing recovery from Covid-19.
With this in mind, Staffordshire County Council is looking to commission a new VCSE Capacity Building Framework.
The purpose of this Framework will be to: • Ensure the VCSE sector remains sustainable as communities continue to recover from Covid-19. • Build capacity in communities to support the Council to deliver its priorities (including Community Health and Wellbeing, and Children, Young People and Families). • Provide a flexible and responsive way of commissioning additional work with the VCSE sector and partners, building on how we worked with the sector to respond to Covid-19.
The Council therefore wish to invite Providers to an engagement event to outline the need, scope, principles, and aspiration of our future service whilst seeking feedback from Providers of these services to refine our thinking prior to a possible future tender.
The Market Development Provider Event will take place from 1600 to 1730 on the 9/11/21 via Microsoft Teams.
By attending Providers will have the opportunity to be part of: • shaping the vision for the future service, • and contributing to early thinking of new commissioning arrangements.
If you are interested in attending this event please confirm your attendance to adam.rooney@staffordshire.gov.uk, we will then share the Microsoft teams link with you in readiness for the event.
We also recommend you register on the Council's e-tendering system https://supplierlive.proactisp2p.com/Account/Login
