NHS NORTH KIRKLEES CLINICAL COMMISSIONING GROUP - MUSCULOSKELETAL SERVICE BIDDER INFORMATION EVENT

NHS North Kirklees CCG is holding a bidder information event on the 18th January 2016 at the AL-Hikmah Centre, 28 Track Road, Batley, WF17 7AA, to present their outline service model with a view to inviting Expressions of Interest from potential providers to deliver a safe, cost effective Musculoskeletal (MSK) Service within their practice population.

Attendance at the bidder information event is an opportunity for interested parties to: • Hear the CCG’s vision and proposal on the way forward • Provide views and comments as a potential provider • Have an opportunity to ask questions • Have a brief overview of the procurement process The Service: NHS North Kirklees CCG is looking for a provider to develop and sustain a multidisciplinary community based MSK provision.

By working across our neighbourhoods in primary care, the new MSK service will be integrated, based in community locations, be responsive both to the needs of our patients and our GP member practices.

The service will also host the community hand surgery service and provide access to podiatric surgery.

For MSK, hand surgery and podiatric surgery, the provider can propose to either use solely that provider’s services, or can rapidly and extensively mobilise through sub-contracting a network of provision to meet the needs of the demand.

An Integrated service is required that provides care and support squarely in the community.

As space at the venue is limited it is requested that each organisation sends no more than 2 delegates.

An expression of interest in this bidder information event will not automatically entitle involvement in any future procurement exercise.

Any procurement conducted as a result of this event will be advertised separately and all organisations wanting to participate will need to respond to the procurement advertisement as and when it is published.
