Ferndown Town Centre Study

The Partnership seeks to appoint a consultant to deliver a Town Centre Strategy for Ferndown Town Centre that will: Objectives Produce a deliverable plan for the study area that makes a transformational change to Ferndown Town Centre which is supported by the majority of the residents, businesses and politicians in the area.

Look at Ferndown’s wider strategic role in the Hierarchy of local settlements including the conurbation so that Ferndown develops appropriately Undertake Community and Business consultation during a 14 week study period to ensure community and business buy in Undertake consultation with the Town and District Political leaders during the 14 week study period to ensure political buy in Liaise with public and private landowners to develop views about likely development/ redevelopment potential for the study area Liaise with the Policy and Development Control departments at the District Council to ensure policy support for any plans Ensure the outputs for the study are met.
