To support clients and families exercising choice and control and arrange services themselves using Direct Payments, the Council wishes to commission a Contractor to provide advice, guidance and support.
The focus of the Direct Payment Support Service is to deliver the key outcomes: - Clients are supported to access a Direct Payment. - Clients are supported to manage the spending of their Direct Payment. - Clients are effectively supported to source workers and are supported in their duties as an employer. - Clients are supported to manage their PA. - Clients feel more in control of their care arrangements. - Clients have increased satisfaction with the range and availability of the support options available to them. - Clients have increased satisfaction with the range and availability of local support available to them. - Improved PA job satisfaction and improved retention. - Clients are supported to manage their money more effectively. - Clients are confident that their money is being managed safely. - Clients are actively involved in their local community. - Clients have sufficient safeguards in place when taking a Direct Payment/ PA
