The works comprise of undertaking an initial Management Survey to each of the identified sites and subsequent re-inspections thereafter at six monthly intervals for the duration of the contract.
The purpose of the survey is to locate as far as possible the presence and extent of any suspect Asbestos-containing materials (ACM’s) within buildings which could be damaged or disturbed during normal occupancy, including foreseeable maintenance and installation and to assess the condition of the host.
1.3 Contract Term The Authority is proposing to enter into a contract with an initial duration of two (2) years plus an option to extend by two (2) further period of twelve (12) months with the successful bidder.
Any option to extend the contract will be exercised solely at the Authority’s discretion.
