The brief

Lion Fields is a rare opportunity to deliver the comprehensive redevelopment of the eastern gateway to Kidderminster town centre.

Wyre Forest District Council (WFDC) alongside North Worcestershire Economic Development and Regeneration (NWEDR) are seeking a developer with the skills, experience, financial resources and ambition to deliver a leisure-led mixed use development in Kidderminster.

Lion Fields is a site of approximately 6.5 hectares (16 acres) and takes its name from both historic and current references to the locality.

It is envisaged that redevelopment will comprise a mix of uses incorporating leisure, retail, residential, creative and community uses.

A Development Framework setting out WFDC's vision for Lion Fields has been adopted in support of redevelopment in this area and a phased approach to delivery is proposed for the entire site.

However, this invitation relates to Parcel One of Lion Fields which extends to approximately 3.10 acres and is offered as an opportunity to bring forward a new mixed use leisure and commercial development to anchor this regeneration area.

The procurement is being carried out via the Restricted route, all documentation relating to the contract can be downloaded via the Due North portal, including the Selection Questionnaire, http://procontract.due-north.com Queries relating to the SQ must be sent via the electronic portal Due North and will also be answered via the portal.

The deadline for the submission of the Selection Questionnaire is 2pm 8th August 2017
