Provision of a Drugs and Alcohol Service in Somerset
This is not a call for competition and is not yet a contract opportunity.
Somerset County Council (SCC) is seeking a dialogue with organisations that might be interested in delivering drugs and alcohol service(s) in Somerset to cover early intervention for adults and treatment services (Tier 3) for adults and young people.
The contract(s) will commence on 1st April 2019.
This service is commissioned by SCC working closely with the Strategic Drug and Alcohol Partnership Board (SDAP) for Somerset.

SCC intends to run a procurement process in Autumn 2017.
We are holding market engagement events to have a dialogue about the future service between SCC, SDAP partners and organisations that may wish to deliver the future service(s).
Organisations that take part will not be advantaged or disadvantaged in any potential future formal procurement.
Commercial confidentiality will be respected.
This notice does not represent a formal commitment by SCC to undertake a procurement procedure.
Dates: 28th July (11:00-2:00), 31st July (2:00-5:00), 4th August 2017 (10:00-1:00) Venue: Taunton Event Registration: Please email sdap@somerset.gov.uk stating your first, second and third preferred dates.
We will offer you a place for your second or third preferred dates if places are fully booked at your first choice.
A session may be cancelled if the numbers booked are low.
If you cannot attend an event the presentation and notes will be available through the e tender system ProContract.
