The objective of this Framework Agreement is the supply and delivery of Deschampsia flexuosa and dwarf shrub seed mix ("the Seed or Material"), which will be applied by helicopter to damaged areas of moorland in the Peak District National Park and South Pennines SAC.

This Invitation to Tender is for a Framework Agreement for the period 10 October 2016 to 10 October 2019 ("the Framework Period").
This means that, after evaluation of the Tenderers' Forms of Tenders, the Authority will appoint Framework Contractors to carry out the Works at different Sites throughout the Framework Period.
The framework process is set out in Section 2 (Instructions on Submitting a Tender).

The Material for the purposes of this Tender shall consist of approximately 1740 kg of the seed mix in the first two years of the Framework Agreement, comprising 1290 kg of D. flexuosa seed and 450 kg of dwarf shrub seed mix, to be packaged for delivery.

The above quantity is indicative and the Authority is unable to confirm exact figures for its requirements.
Tenderers are therefore requested to provide rates in the Itemised Costs for years 1-3 of the Framework Period as set out below at the various price break points in the Itemised Costs section.
The Itemised Costs provided in the Form of Tender for Year 1 and 2 shall be guaranteed by the Tenderer for Years 1 and 2 of the Framework Period.
Itemised Costs for Year 3 shall be indicative only.
