Introduction The Partnership invites all suitably equipped companies to tender for a planned preventative maintenance. service contract for all Air Conditioning (AC) Servicing as listed in Appendix 6 Doc 3.
General Provisions The contract covers the provision of trained and skilled labour of the appropriate grade and trade for the different aspects of the work, in particular skilled operatives, and labour capable of carrying out all of the servicing, inspections, checks and testing, together with the ability to verify and diagnose fault conditions from the tests carried out and fully complete all certificates and record sheets for each installation.
The Contract is to be based on a standard unit cost per site per year.
The Contractor shall provide a full programmed maintenance regime to include checking, cleaning, and testing all of the equipment forming the Air Conditioning Systems as necessary to ensure their proper and safe operation.
In the event that a problem which cannot be rectified during the course of the programmed service visit is discovered by the maintenance engineer, the engineer shall inform the PPM & Compliance Manager and fully complete all certificates and service record sheets for each installation before leaving the site.
Within 5 working days the Contractor shall provide the with a quotation to carry out the necessary repairs so as to restore the system to full operational order.
The successful contractor will be required to produce a life condition report of each unit within the first year.
This report should be provided to the PPM & Compliance Manager.
The Partnership may not require all assets listed to be serviced and reserves the right to make the final decision on the number of assets (including new addition) it requires servicing.
Any remedial work identified will be subject to separate quotation/tenders and will be available to other contractors or organisations to quote for.
