The brief

NHS England is looking to contract for a suite of teaching courses in Perinatal Mental Health.

Suppliers would need to be/link with an NHS Trust that is also an educational institution.

Training is to be delivered by serving NHS clinicians, following latest clinical practice and treatment.

There must be an online Digital Academy training offer that has been developed clinical and technical experts to enable clinical colleagues across the country to access training at a time that is most convenient to fit around clinical responsibilities with no requirement to travel to a venue during the pandemic.

This course has been independently assessed and approved for Continuing Professional Development purposes to meet CPD standards and is accredited.

The 20-hour course offers an introduction to different types of Perinatal Mental Illness and will train health and care professionals, who come into contact with someone who experiences Perinatal Mental Illness around the key elements of this topic.
