The brief

YPO supplies products and services to a wide range of customers including schools, local authorities, charities, emergency services, public sector and other businesses such as housing associations and care providers.

We're 100% publicly owned, by 13 local authorities, which means the profits we make are returned to our public sector customers, delivering even better value for money.

We are increasing our presence within social care and health and developing solutions.

Requirements and Outcomes YPO wishes to explore establishing a solution for the provision of Lifestyle Services.

We recognise that commissioning and procurement of these services can be challenging and want to speak with the market and potential customers around ways in which we could add value to the overall process.

We envisage that the solution may be a framework consisting of a limited number of providers with proven capability to deliver a range of services, either as an integrated solution or individually.

The services may be delivered by the framework provider directly or through subcontracted arrangements and typically cover; • Health Trainers • Stop Smoking Services • Child weight management • Adult weight management • Community physical activity programmes • NHS Health Checks • Behaviour change • National Child Measurement Programme To ensure this solution is future proof, we want to know about other aspects wider Public Health agenda that would be included. • We want to know views from providers; o where they see the direction of travel for their market o what works well and what doesn't from a commissioning and procurement perspective We want to know from commissioners and procurement leads o their challenges around service design o working with the market o approaches to procurement
