The brief

HSCIC sought a partner to work closely with senior management within HSCIC to understand the requirements for finance skills, and source personnel able to meet these requirements.

HSCIC will advise the partner of upcoming opportunities and intentions to recruit, providing role profiles and job descriptions for proposed roles.

The partner will: •engage with the HSCIC to fully understand the requirement for the role; •work using their processes and networks to source candidates for these roles, providing HSCIC with CVs and relevant additional information; •advise HSCIC when skilled individuals become available outside of planned recruitment, which the HSCIC may consider for prospective future roles.

The partner will ensure that candidates they propose are qualified for the posts before submitting candidate information for HSCIC to consider, by: •Verifying the candidates’ qualifications, •Confirming right to work in the UK, or alternative arrangements agreed with the HSCIC.

Roles will also be advertised on NHS Jobs and by HSCIC directly (e.g. via Guardian online) but the partner will seek to use its extended recruitment networks to provide a wider selection and more focussed recruitment options.

The partner will not be required to support internal selections, the use of NHS Jobs, or other HSICIC recruitment routes.
