West Sussex County Council (CAP)
WSCC AE Market Consultation for Specialist Learning Disability/Autism Supported Living Services
The Council is undertaking a market consultation exercise in relation to the further development of supported living services for adults with a learning disability and autistic people.
This forms part of our response to meeting the accommodation needs of young people transitioning to adult services and people being discharged from specialist inpatient units (Transforming Care).
To address insufficient supply to meet current and future needs, the Council particularly wants to explore the interest and capacity in the market to develop new specialist, self-contained, supported living services for people with learning disabilities and/or autism with behaviour that challenges and/or complex physical disabilities that includes an element of provision for people who need to live away from noise and access points for other residents, annexed or as part of a larger service.
We will be hosting an online market engagement event on the 24th June 2022 2-4pm to provide further information to interested providers.
If you would like to express an interest in attending this soft market testing event please e mail LDCommissioning@westsussex.gov.uk by 5pm 20th June 2022.
We will also be able to offer individual meetings in autumn 2022 for providers who would like to explore their proposed schemes with the Council.
Please note that this is not the commencement of a procurement process and service providers are expressing an interest to receive further information on this service and take part in a market engagement event.
Should any procurement arise from this, a separate notice and information will be provided.
If you have any questions, please contact by email: LDCommissioning@westsussex.gov.uk
