The GBAD project sites are located in the Falklands Islands (East Falkland) within proximity to Mount Pleasant Base which hosts British Forces South Atlantic Islands (BFSAI) garrison and main operations.
The value of the works is anticipated to be in the region of £7.5M-£10M (GBP).
The works involve: • A range of new / upgraded civils infrastructure including roads, hard standings, reinforced concrete and earth retaining structures /operational areas (systems loading / unloading / testing / use), bunkers upgrading and supporting infrastructure (including demolition of redundant infrastructure and site reinstatement); • The re-configuration / upgrading of existing buildings (including office/operations command, accommodation and light industrial uses (storage of GBAD systems components and vehicles); • A new build light industrial building, and; • Supporting MEP works.
