Reconstruction of Wych Barge Timber Structure, Vines Park, Droitwich.

Wychavon District Council are inviting quotes for the dismantling & reconstruction of a timber constructed Salt Barge located within Vines Park, Droitwich.

This structure represents the towns heritage to salt production and is a standout structure located in the park which is central to Droitwich Town.

The works consist of removing the existing timber barge construction and replacing with a similar like for like timber structure.

A concrete block & slab formwork exists under the timber structure, this is to remain and to be used for reinstallation.

Ancillary works consist of replacing the stone surface & timber signage boards acting as the sail.

The Council is using the e-procurement portal known as the Proactis Pro-Contract portal https://procontract.due-north.com to conduct this procurement exercise.

To gain access to the procurement documents, bidders will need to register their company details at the above website.

Once registered, bidders will be emailed a log-in and password which will allow them to gain access to the procurement documents.

Bidders will need to search for the invitation under Wychavon District Council and then electronically submit an expression of interest and follow the online instructions to view the procurement documents.
