Design and build: Replacement of pond dipping platforms and bridge at Daventry Country Park NN11 2JB
Platforms: The pond dipping area is currently unusable for health and safety reasons as the existing platforms are in a bad state of repair and need replacing.
There pond will need to be cleared and both replacement platforms will require increase access for pushchair and wheelchair users so as to ensure safe use for visitors.
Bridge: The bridge which goes across a jetty to a bird viewing site is currently unusable for health and safety reasons as it has collapsed and needs replacing.
Both structures to be built out of wood A budget of circa £25,000 has been set aside for these two projects although the pond dipping platforms has the highest priority.
The contract will commence in July 2017 and both works to be completed by 29th September 2017
