The brief

The Police and Crime Commissioner for West Yorkshire (PCC) is inviting organisations to Tender to provide an early intervention programme for perpetrators of domestic abuse across West Yorkshire.

The PCC is seeking one provider (this may include consortia arrangements involving a number of organisations) for a high quality and cost effective perpetrator programme across West Yorkshire.

The service must be flexible, easily accessible and victim centred.

Tackling domestic abuse is a priority for the PCC as is to ensure equality of support for victims of crime.

Following a Government consultation in 2014 (‘Getting it right for victims and witnesses’) from October 2014 PCCs were given responsibility for commissioning locally most of the emotional and practical support services for victims of crime that are provided by the voluntary, community and social enterprise sectors.

These services help victims to cope with and recover from the impacts of crime.
