Demolition and Replacement of Riverside Wall.
A structural investigation by WYG Engineering, undertaken during 2013, indicated that the riverside wall, at the western end, adjacent to the River Derwent was at risk of failure in the foreseeable future.
The proposed works comprise the installation of a new sheet pile wall to replace the existing 1920's reinforced king pile wall, and associated ground fill works.
