The brief

Merseyside Waste Disposal Authority (MWDA) wishes to engage a suitable contractor to undertake continuous monitoring of its existing CCTV cameras, along with service inspections and the maintenance of the CCTV apparatus.

The service shall include: i) The provision of 24/7 CCTV monitoring from the Authority's existing CCTV cameras and associated apparatus. ii) The provision of audible warnings at the site, in the event of any incursion, via the existing public address system installed alongside the CCTV system. iii) The provision of a mobile security response in the event of an incident. iv) The provision of all the equipment/apparatus et all necessary to interface between the existing CCTV cameras and public address system, and the proposed monitoring station. v) Provision of a service/maintenance inspection (a minimum of twice yearly) sufficient to ensure the continued operation of the CCTV cameras, public address system, and all other associated apparatus.

The Contractor shall be responsible for ensuring that the apparatus is kept in a clean, effective, and safe operational condition. vi) Key holding for each site vii) Telephone/text notification to MWDA's representative immediately following an incident being detected.
