Greentech Access to Innovation (Greentech A2i) project supports Greater London green tech entrepreneurs, start-ups and small to medium enterprises (SMEs) to develop and deliver innovative and environmental friendly solutions (services & products) by connecting them to academic expertise and state-of-the-art facilities at London South Bank University (LSBU).
Co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and LSBU, the programme is free for participants and offers a range of support including, collaborative projects related to product development and testing innovations in simulated environments bespoke to individual businesses, along with core workshops, consultancy, access to networks and sign-posting.
The A2i programme officially started in October 2016, launched for registrations soon after, and is funded until March 2020.
Project outputs are: - 120 SMEs assisted with 12-hours of support - 24 start-ups or recently formed SMEs supported - 50 SMEs working with Research entities - 30 SMEs developing or launching new products or services to market - 2800T CO2e saving over the course of the programme We are seeking to appoint an independent organisation to carry out evaluation for the A2i programme.
This would result in three reports to delivered electronically to be reviewed by the project team (LSBU) and project funders (GLA & ERDF). - Interim reports to be delivered in Spring 2018 and Spring 2019 (Dates TBC) - Final report due before March 2020 (Date TBC)
