Additionally, service will give patients access to advice from specialist nurses and an individualised care review to ensure they are always prescribed the best products for their differing needs.
There will be an initial contract period of 3 years commencing on 1st May 2022; and there will be the option to extend for a further 1-year period from 1st May 2025.
This is a £0-based contract and the CCGs envisage there not being a cost associated with the provision of the service.
However, during the term of the contract, the CCG may establish a gain share arrangement and further information regarding the gain share arrangement was available in the tender documentation.
