SC240121 - Request for Quotation - Mental Health Needs Assessment
This is a contract result notice, not an open opportunity. Details from the official award data.
This sits below the typical range for Health & Social Care contracts — a smaller, more accessible award. Based on 32,734 valued Health & Social Care tenders in our corpus.
The Council invites proposals from qualified organisations to conduct a comprehensive Mental Health Needs Assessment (MHNA) for the Kent population of age 16+.
The assessment aims to identify the mental health needs of the population, evaluate current service provision, and recommend strategies for improvement. \r \r This needs assessment will be essential for the whole system - the Integrated Care System (ICS), the local provider collaborative for mental health, Health Care Partnerships in the local authority (LA), the local health alliances (district footprint), and Public Health and social care in the Local Authority. \r \r The MHNA must be underpinned by good data and analysis (provided by the Kent Public Health.
Observatory and other relevant bodies).
While a range of quantitative and qualitative evidence should be used to assess these needs, available data sources are largely historical and are therefore ineffective in fulfilling the requirement of assessing the future health and care needs of the population and do not account for the often-complex interplay between health and disease, the environment, behaviour, and systems.\r
