The brief

NHS Health Education England (HEE - the Commissioner) are commencing a tender for the provision of Lead Employer Arrangements for General Practice Specialty Trainees - Health Education England (South West Severn).

HEE is responsible for the training and education of NHS staff, both clinical and non-clinical, within their geographical area.

Working across the South West (Severn), HEE aims to provide high quality education and training to all health professionals including the next generation of doctors, dentists and nurses across the area.

To do this effectively and to ensure the best possible outcomes and experience for patients and people, we work closely with local healthcare providers and key stakeholders so that our work is driven by patient needs.

HEE would like to invite potential bidders to respond to the Invitation to Tender (ITT) for the provision of Lead Employer arrangements for General Practice Specialty Trainees (GPST) across the South West Severn as set out in the service specification.

The contract period will be for three years, subject to annual budget review and KPIs., with the option to extend by up to a further two years.

The maximum contract value will be £726,000 over three years, excluding VAT.

The deadline for submission of completed ITT submissions is Monday 17th August 2020 at 12:00pm (midday).

Late submissions will not be accepted.

The e-portal system will shutdown at 12:00pm and any un-submitted bids not registered to the system at this time will not be accepted.

Therefore, please submit in good time prior to the deadline date and time.
