The brief

You are invited by The Manchester College to submit a Tender for Occupational Health & Employee Assist Programmes: Lot 1: Occupational Health Lot 2: Employee Assist Programme *These LOTS are to be tendered for as one package and will not be offered out as single LOTS This Contract Agreement is intended to commence on July 4th 2016 will be awarded for an initial period of 2 years.

Consideration will be given to extending the Agreement for a further 2 years, in 12 month extensions, subject to satisfactory performance and the agreement of both parties.

Regular reviews of the agreement will take place.

As one of the largest and most successful further education colleges in Europe, The Manchester College provides education and training to a wide range of learners and clients across the City of Manchester and beyond.

The Mission of the College is ‘To improve lives and economic success through learning and skills’.

The Manchester College is based at many sites across the city: from Openshaw, Moston and Harpurhey in the North to Wythenshawe and West Didsbury in the South, as well as several locations in the City Centre.

Each site has its own specialist, cutting edge facilities and resources within a friendly and supportive atmosphere.

The Manchester College is a large scale social enterprise which has learning, skills, development and transitional services at the heart of its mission.

We deliver a comprehensive package of services for learners in custody and the community enabling progression into education, training and employment and are one of the UK’s largest providers of training (Novus) to the Justice Sector.

The Manchester College have recently acquired an Apprenticeship Training Provider namely Total People based in Cheshire who strengthen our existing Apprenticeship provision and add a further 250 headcount to an existing 4500 strong Group staff.

Along College Curriculum demand, both the whole of the Justice Sector (Novus) UK delivery circa 80 Prison Establishments and that of Total People circa 12 Sites, are now included in this unique opportunity.

These additional volumes significantly increase the total demand requirement of this Tender as well as the logistical capability needed by the successful supplier of this lucrative contract opportunity.
