The brief

Commissioners from the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) for Staffordshire, Staffordshire County Council and Stoke-on-Trent City Council, supported by colleagues from Staffordshire District / Borough Authorities are intending to tender for a domestic abuse service which operates on an entire Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent footprint to commence on 1 October 2017.

This will include differing tiers of services for potential victims, potential perpetrators, children and families, victims, perpetrators, children, young people, adults and families, businesses and communities across Staffordshire and Stoke and Trent.

A further Market Engagement Event will be held prior to the commencement of the formal procurement process, taking place on Friday 16 December 2016 at Staffordshire Police Headquarters, Weston Road, Stafford ST18 0YY.

The purpose of this will be to provide interested parties with brief outline details of the service specification and to seek feedback.

Organisations interested in attending are asked to give prior notification of their interest by email to Anne Coghlan (anne.coghlan@staffordshire.pcc.pnn.gov.uk) by midday on Wednesday 6 December 2016.

An invitation will then be issued to all interested parties.

These parties will then be asked to complete a short pro-forma providing details of their organisation and the services it offers, if not already provided as part of the initial Market Engagement Event held in October 2016.

Additionally they will be asked to indicate whether a short 1-2-1 session with Commissioners from the OPCC/ Staffordshire County/ Stoke-on-Trent Councils is required.

Following the commencement of the formal procurement process early in the New Year (2017), an independently facilitated Supplier Engagement Event will take place to enable / support the exploration of supplier collaboration opportunities.
