Produce and Deliver Christmas Pantomime (2023)

Barrow Borough Council invites Tenders from suitably experienced & professional production companies, for the provision of an annual seasonal pantomime production to be presented at the forum theatre Barrow.

The forum's Christmas Pantomime will run each season through December.

To commence on or around the 12 December until 30, approx.

28 performances.

The forum theatre Barrow on behalf of Barrow Borough Council is looking to provide a Christmas pantomime production for a continuous run throughout the engagement period.

The Production Company shall provide & produce the Production with artists, scenery properties & all costumes/dresses, along with all consumables (dry ice, strobe units, lasers etc.) The Production Company shall prior to the first performance ensure that all scenery & properties shall be properly fireproofed & of satisfactory quality to meet all relevant health & safety legislation.

The Visiting Manager shall also provide detailed risk assessments to provide safe conditions to the company, staff & audience.

In addition, the company will hold no less than 10 million public liability insurance for the duration of the production.

The Production Company is liable for all costs & expenses of any nature relating to the mounting, running & maintaining the Production.

This shall include any fees or royalties payable in the form of a charge upon the management by the Performing Right Society relevant to the production.
