Semi-automated electrophoresis system for analysing von Willebrand Factor (vWF) multimers
The agency is looking to purchase a Semi-automated electrophoresis system or equivalent for analysing von Willebrand Factor (vWF) multimers in the first instance.
The system must be available with a kit to analyse vWF multimers as stated.
If you can provide this requirement, please email to Nawaz Habib (nawaz.habib@nibsc.org) to register an interest.
Please also indicate a list price range for the system(s) that you think will meet the specifications.
This information will ONLY be used to seek fund approval and will not be associated to a particular supplier.
We will only use the ranges given.
If leasing your system(s) is an option please also indicate how much a lease (i.e. rental fee) would cost to include any maintenance required during this period and/or any bespoke consumables if applicable.
We would only consider leasing equipment if there was a financial benefit to the Agency, i.e. after X years lease, the Agency would own the equipment and/or the rental fee deducted from the overall purchase.
If no submissions (by close of play 29 May 2019) of potential interest are received, it is then intended to perform a direct award without competition to the sole supplier we believe can supply this system.
At this time we would seek a formal quotation from the supplier to include any discounts, maintenance and/or any bespoke consumables (if applicable).
