Derby City Council is seeking to appoint a contractor with proven experience of soft landscape works including riverside restoration projects and woodland management to undertake these works.
This project is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
Works include: • Veteran tree works and riparian woodland management. • Vegetation clearance and replanting. • Amenity and wildflower seeding. • Supply and installation of bird and bat boxes. • Supply and installation of information boards and street furniture. • Installation of Otter holts.
The sites are: • Nutwood Local Nature Reserve, Darley Abbey • Darley Park, Darley Abbey • Sowter Road, Derby • Bass's Rec; Derby • Pride Park Walkway • Alvaston Park Please note, suppliers wishing to express interest and obtain the documentation, must do so by 15:00 on Tuesday 1 January 2019.
It is recommended that you express interest and obtain the documentation well before this time to allow sufficient time to prepare and submit a comprehensive response.
The deadline for returns is 14:00 on Wednesday 2 January 2019.
There will be guided site visits available on the following dates - Monday 3 December 2018, Time - 10.30 Tuesday 4 December 2018, Time - 14.00 For both visits, the meeting point will be at Alvaston Park, main Car Park with Angie Brown.
The contractor shall give 48 hours notice, via the messaging function on the e-tendering system, of their intention to attend one of the visits.
